Boundary Training 101 and 201

South Central Conference Meeting – New Orleans

Boundary Training authorized by The Faith Trust Institute and the South Central Conference of the United Church of Christ is scheduled for Thursday, May 30 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm at the Jung Hotel and Residences, 1500 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70112.
This will be a combined class for 101 and 201 (recertification) attendees. Those needing 101 (initial class) will be required to attend all day. Those only needing 201 (renewal), need to be in the class from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm. This modified/combined class has been developed to meet the needs of our conference with consideration to time/travel constraints.
The cost is $65.00 per person and includes the cost of the book (provided the day of class). Lunch is not provided in the course cost but there are several options available. Registration will be done through the conference website registration link that will be provided by the conference office starting March 15. You will need to indicate your course choice (101 or 201) at the time you register.
101: Healthy Boundaries – Fundamentals
- This course is designed for those who have never had boundary training with the Faith Trust Institute.
- This is an introductory level course for Clergy and Spiritual Teachers.
- Class time: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
201: Healthy Boundaries – Beyond Basics
- This course is designed for those who have completed basic level training in Healthy Boundaries.
- This is advanced training and renewal for Clergy and Spiritual Teachers.
- Class time: 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm
This class is being taught by Carl Schwartz-King, Minister of Congregational Care at United Christian Church of Austin. Carl is a recognized trainer for the Heart of Texas Association and the South Central Conference of the United Church of Christ.
