The annual South Central Conference Clergy Retreat will be held February 5-6, 2020.
All clergy in any way related to the SCC are invited to attend. Whether you are a member in discernment, a current or retired pastor, chaplain, interim, seminarian, etc., you are invited, you are welcome, and you are very much appreciated.
We all need to practice self-care, the Clergy Retreat is a perfect opportunity to relax, worship and learn. I would love to spend time with each of you catching up on all that has happened in your life and ministry. We are excited to have Bishop Yvette Flunder of City of Refuge UCC in Oakland, CA as our Guest Speaker.
Registration will begin at noon on Wednesday, February 5th and programming will begin at 1 pm.
Please eat before you arrive. We will be serving Wednesday supper, Thursday breakfast and Thursday lunch before our we adjourn our meeting. There is a section on the registration form for the meals. Please mark the meals that you will be present for and indicate any medically necessary dietary restrictions such as a peanut allergy. We are able to provide vegetarian and gluten-free meal options provided we are notified at least a week prior to the event.
This is an exciting event when clergy come together to retreat, grow, and shape the direction of the ministry of the church. We hope that you make this a priority! If you would like to inquire about scholarship funds to aid in your attendance, please email Stacey Silvey at email@example.com and she will assist you.
Registration opened November 15, 2019!
I look forward to seeing all of you.
Peace and grace,
