Regenerative Leadership: A Clergy Formation Experience is an eight-month journey for South Central Conference authorized ministers and Members in Discernment. It includes pastors, chaplains, ministers serving in specialized settings, and active retired ministers.

The experience begins with a six-night retreat at sea, combining three intentional leadership-formation sessions with genuine time for rest, spiritual practice, recreation, and relationship-building. Participants will continue together through four online gatherings between the retreat and August 2027, with dates determined in consultation with those selected. Burnout Is Not Personal Failure names one of the experience's central convictions; it is not an admission requirement.

This is not simply a cruise, nor is it a conference scheduled at sea. It is a sustained clergy-formation experience grounded in the conviction that rest, reflection, healthy relationships, and regenerative practices are essential capacities for faithful leadership.
