We represent the United Church of Christ churches in the central and southern part of Texas. We are one of four associations in the South Central Conference.

Membership
Lay Delegates to the Heart of Texas Association shall be named by the member churches, each church being entitled to five such voting lay delegates. It is recommended that all voting lay delegates be elected or appointed by their local churches for at least a two-year term. In addition, all authorized ministers with standing in the Heart of Texas Association shall be voting members. The members of the Association Executive Committee shall be voting members.

Officers
Officers are elected by the Association at its annual Spring meeting for terms of two years on a staggered basis, with no officers except the Treasurer serving more than two successive terms.
